Zach Hale Joins Golf Office as Junior Golf Director

Apr 5, 2016

The Indiana Golf Office welcomes Zach Hale of Indianola, Iowa as our newest staff member.  Hale will serve as Junior Golf Director, overseeing all Junior Tour events.

Hale received his first set of golf clubs at five years old and learned the game with his grandpa by his side.

“Junior golf taught me so much growing up,” said Hale.  “I learned the values of respect, honesty, accountability, punctuality and sincerity and I made some great friendships along the way.”

Hale grew up playing on the Iowa Junior PGA Tour and went on to attend Simpson College.  There, he studied Sports Administration and was captain and MVP of the men’s golf team.   Hale also interned with the Texas Legends Junior Tour during the summer of his junior year.

Upon graduation, Hale interned with the Wisconsin PGA Junior Foundation and served as the Assistant Men’s Golf Coach at Simpson College.

Hale is excited to join the Indiana Golf Office staff and looks forward to giving back to the game that taught him so much.

“Golf is near and dear to my heart,” said Hale.  “I truly enjoy seeing junior players grow and develop, not just as golfers, but as young men and women.”
