Thank you to the staff at Purgatory for all of their efforts this week for the 119th Indiana Amateur Championships. Director of Golf, Jon Stutz, and Golf Course Superintendent, John Schriner, have done everything they can to provide a quality tournament experience for all of you. Unfortunately, the weather has not cooperated.
We will attempt to resume Round 3 at 10:00 tomorrow. If we are able to start Round 3 at 10:00 and can complete the round, we will attempt to play Round 4. Groups will not be repaired for Round 4. Once you complete play for Round 3 you will be given 30 minutes before you begin Round 4.
Assuming ½ or more of the field finishes either Round 3 or Round 4, we would go to Friday a.m. to complete that round. If we are unable to play any golf tomorrow, the results will revert back to 36 holes.
