Rain Out

Aug 4, 2009

Thunderstorms plagued the Callaway Assistants Championship at The Legends Tuesday morning and the tournament was called off and decided based on Monday’s 36 hole scores. Blair Shadday of Purgatory GC was declared the winner after firing 72-66=138 and qualified for his first national Callaway Golf PGA Assistant Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, in October. Jamie Broce from Indiana University also qualified by finishing second after rounds of 68-71=139.

Callaway provided both qualifiers with a piece of luggage for their trip to the national championship, and Shadday also received airfare reimbursement for taking the Indiana title.
