Potter Leads Women’s Am, Tibbets One Back

After the first round of the 54-hole 95^th Indiana Women’s Amateur Championship at Rock Hollow GC, two players distanced themselves from the rest of the field. Four-time Champion Julia Potter leads after day one with a 5-under-par round of 67 that included four birdies and an eagle against a lone bogey. A shot back of Potter is Lauren Tibbets who fired a 4-under-par round that included four birdies and a bogey.
 
Potter and Tibbets are both four shots clear of third place Emma Fisher of Bloomington who carded an even-par round of 72. The threesome will play in tomorrow’s final group starting at 9:39 am.
