This past Sunday, eight PGA Junior League Teams competed for two spots in the Mideast Regional Championship that will take place at NCR Country Club in Dayton, Ohio on October 3-4.
Team Kokomo/Tipton won the PGA JLG North Championship at Swan Lake Resort after defeating Hamilton County East 7 to 5 and Chesterton 2 11 to 1.
Team Carmel won the South Championship at Hillview CC, knocking out Indy 1 9.5 to 2.5 and then finishing in a tie with the Legends 6 to 6. It took a playoff to settle the Championship and Carmel came out on top, winning 13 holes to 8 holes.
