Kids and Coaches Get in Free at The 4th Annual Legends Championship at The Pete Dye Course at at French Lick Resort

Aug 11, 2016

Dear Coaches and Promoters of Junior Golf:

Golf is such an important game, not only to each and every one of us, but to future generations of players. We, as golfers, have a tremendous opportunity to guarantee the health of our own game for generations to come.

French Lick Resort in conjunction with Resort Charity Events, LLC, along with the members of the LPGA LEGENDS TOUR, Old National Bank and our designated charity, Riley Children’s Foundation, would like to take this opportunity to tell you about an effort we are making to:

1. Promote the game of golf to our youth,

2. Stress the value of golf as a physical activity.

3. Give the young golfers of our communities the opportunity to see first-hand, some of the greatest women golfers ever to play the game.

On August 20th and 21st, the Greatest Names in Women’s Golf will converge on the Pete Dye Course at French Lick to play the 4th Annual Legends Championship. Our kids will have the opportunity to watch greats like Julie Inkster, Jan Stephenson, Joanne Carner, Patty Sheehan, Laura Davies, Jane Crafter, and many more, representing over 375 LPGA Tour Wins and over 60 Worldwide Major Championships!

We are inviting golf programs such as yours throughout the area to participate in this great event. The first round of the Championship is Saturday, August 20, 2016, final round is Sunday, August 21, and rounds begin at 8 a.m. daily.

ALL KIDS 18 AND UNDER WILL BE ADMITTED FREE TO THE TOURNAMENT AND THE KIDS PAVILION.

Coaches and Chaperones that bring team members to the event will also be admitted at NO CHARGE for the day. Please encourage your participating Boys and Girls Golf Team members and Junior Golf Participants to take advantage of this great opportunity to see the Greats of Women’s Golf, as well as an opportunity to learn how GOLF can be one of the greatest forms of physical activity and fitness.

Parking for spectators is at the blue lot adjacent to the Indiana Railway Museum and spectators will be transported to the Pete Dye Course from there. To reserve tickets, or for more information, please contact me via email at dharner@frenchlick.com; or by cell phone at 812.639.6857.

Best in Golf,
