Begun in
1976, The Junior PGA Championship has traditionally produced unforgettable golf
performances and brings together the best junior golfers from around the country
to compete for the Jack Nicklaus Trophy in the boys’ division and the Patty Berg
Trophy in the girls’ division.

In 2009,
Florida natives T.J. Vogel of Cooper City
and Alexis Thompson of Coral
Springs claimed the title in the boys’ and girls’

PGA Championship in 2007 at the age of 12, took home her second
title.
