Indiana has approximately 350 golfers currently on collegiate golf rosters. According to Golfweek Magazine, 129 of those players are on Division One Teams.
Golfweek Magazine put together a map showing the breakdown of Division One players per state and how they stack up nationally and internationally. Indiana ranks ninth in the United States for total number of DI golfers (129) and sixth for female DI golfers (65). Indiana also has the most DI golfers of any state outside the top nine in total population.
