Danah Ford Bordner 4th at LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament

Danah Ford Bordner’s 30th birthday present came Sunday in the form of priority status for the 2011 LPGA season. With rounds of 72-76-72-70 in the first four rounds of the finals at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla., Bordner stood tied in 27th place heading into Sunday’s final round. She then fired the lowest round of the day, a 68, in tough weather conditions to finish tied in 4th. Her strong finish earned her Tournament Division Membership in the
Ladies Professional Golf Association with priority status for the 2011
season

Danah won the 2004 and ’01 Indiana Women’s Amateur Championships and 2007 and ’04 Indiana PGA Women’s Open Championships. She was also named the IWGA’s 2004 Alice O’Neal Dye Player of the Year. Her brother Ryan Ford and father Denny Ford are both Indiana PGA Members and Professionals at Pleasant Run GC and Sarah Shank GC in Indianapolis.
