We are approaching the entry deadline for the 2011 U.S. Women’s
Amateur Public Links Championship. This year’s championship will be
conducted concurrently with the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship
at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Ore. The women’s championship
will be contested over the highly rated Old MacDonald and Bandon Trails
golf courses from June 27-July 2.
Entries are open to female amateur golfers with an up-to-date
Handicap Index® not exceeding 18.4 who since January 1 of the current
year have been bona fide public course players and have not held
privileges of any course which does not extend playing privileges to
the general public. Entries close at 5 p.m. EDT on May 11. Players can visit www.usga.org to find a qualifying site and to enter.
The entry fee is $50, which includes an 18-hole qualifying round for the national championship.
