Andrew Wegeng of Avon fired a 66 in the qualifying round of the IGA Match Play Championship to earn the 2nd seed heading into match play. Eric Steger of Noblesville, the 2009 champion, automatically received the top seed for his victory last year. The top 30 players scored 74 or better at Prairie View GC, and a playoff commenced immediately for the final two spots between the 10 players tied at 75.
First round matches begin at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
