Till Earns Another National Senior Victory

Flor. – This past weekend ninety-eight of the finest senior amateur golfer’s in
North America converged on Old Corkscrew Golf Club to compete in the 2011 Old
Corkscrew Senior Invitational. Sam Till from Fort Wayne, Indiana was crowned
the Senior Division Champion shot rounds of 70, 80 and 73 for a 223 total.Ed
Craig who resides in Orlando, FL, claimed the Super Senior Division Championship
shot rounds of 74, 78 and 77 for a 229 total.

Till
who is the current and defending Club Champion at Old Corkscrew Golf Club
defeated an experienced group of competitors – past champions at other senior
events and a coveted award winner.Many of the participants are members of the
Society of Seniors.Bill Zylstra who received the 2008 and 2009 Golfweek Senior
Amateur ‘Player of the Year Award’ was runner-up, finished two shot
behind.Chicago, IL native Tom Studer finished a close third. 

Also, at the Riverwood Senior Invitational two weeks prior, Till finished second. Many other top amateurs from Indiana made the top of the leader board as well.
