This weekend, PGA Junior League Team Kokomo won back-to
-back matches at Fox Prairie Golf Course to claim the 2017 Indiana Sub-Regional title. Led by Coach Todd Smith, Team Kokomo defeated Team Fort Wayne Private 7 to 5 and went on to defeate Fishers 8.5 to 3.5.
Team Kokomo will represent Indiana at the PGA Junior League Mideast Regional Championship at The Bridgewater Club in Carmel, September 30-October 1.
The eight Regional champions will then advance to the 2017 PGA Junior League Championship, which will be held at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. November 16-19.
