Indiana Professional Golf Association, PORT ST. LUCIE, FL (April 30) —
Five Indiana PGA Professionals teed it up at the 2025 PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, with two earning spots in one of the PGA’s strongest field.
Eric Steger, Jamie Broce, Vince Drahman, Timothy Wiseman, and Sabrina Bonanno represented the Indiana Section in this year’s national championship. After 36 holes, Steger, Broce, Drahman, and Wiseman advanced past the first cut and continued into the third round.
Starting day three, commonly called “moving day”—with all four still in the mix, Steger sat at T25, Broce at T17. Drahman at T44, and Wiseman at T56 the four had their work cut out for them if they were going to make the cut for the final day of play and to compete for one of the coveted 20 spots on the Corebridge Financial Team to play in the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Steger entered the final round in solo second at 6-under and looked primed to punch his ticket. Broce sat T13 and in strong position as well, while Wiseman (T31) and Drahman (T65) needed standout finishes to contend. With the cutline hovering around 1-under par, Broce struggled to find momentum and slipped out of contention after carding seven bogeys. Meanwhile, Wiseman delivered a steady performance and surged up 15 spots, capped by a clutch birdie on the 18th hole to secure his place on the Corebridge Financial Team.
Steger held steady to claim his spot, joining Wiseman as the two Indiana PGA Professionals now heading to Quail Hollow for their first major appearance at the 2025 PGA Championship, May 12–18.
