The 2012 Indiana Golf Association season will begin this Sunday with the first round of the IGA Mid-Am Team Championship. This year’s event will feature 53 teams at historic Otter Creek GC in Columbus. The Championship is a 36-hole event in which teams play 18-holes of Pinehurst alternate shot on Sunday, and 4-ball stroke play on Monday.
Sam Till and Marty Rifkin of Fort Wayne will look to defend their title against a very deep and talented field which includes multiple past champions (Adam Grant & Joe Gradison – 2010, Randy Nichols & Skip Runnels – 1998 & 2006, Curt Puckett & Todd Palmer – 2009, and Brad Chesterman & Jeremy Senk – 2005).
The IGA is also excited to announce that this year’s event is being generously sponsored by Raymond James.
Play will begin at 12:00 noon on Sunday.
