Front-nine 29 by Shadday Impresses, and Leads, the Field

Former 2009 Callaway Assistant Champion and 2009 Assistant
Player of the Year Blair Shadday of Purgatory fired his lowest 9-hole score, a
very impressive 29 on the front at Woodland CC Monday to take sole possession
of the lead with 18 to play. His rounds of 68-69=137 gave him a two shot
cushion over IU’s Jamie Broce (69-70=139), who is all too familiar with sitting
in second behind Shadday in this event.
