Couples Outing

Sep 14, 2009

The Indiana PGA Board of Directors, under the leadership of Jack Barber, have pushed for more activities that include spouses and significant others of PGA Members this year. The first initiative was a couples session the night before the Spring Business Meeting that turned out to be very successful. The most recent initiative has been spearheaded by Board Member Anthony Andrews – the first annual Couples Golf Outing.

On September 26th, all PGA Members and their significant others are invited to Woodstock CC in Indianapolis for a 9-hole scramble with another couple at 3:00 pm. The $75 entry fee covers golf, cart, beverages and a special tee prize. Following the outing, everyone is invited to attend dinner at St. Elmo’s Steak House and then to Howl at the Moon for cocktails. Dinner and cocktails after are not included in the entry fee.

Spouses of all playing abilibities are welcome to attend. The scramble format is intended to be inviting to everyone and encourage a fun atmosphere where new friendships can be formed.

To enter, email Lisa Chambers with your form of payment and your partner’s name.
