The 2012 IGA, Indiana PGA, and IWGA tournament schedules are now online and available for viewing.
The 2012 schedule consists of 72 total tournaments and qualifiers for the three organizations.
Some highlights for 2012 include:
- The 97th Indiana Open Championship will be held at the French Lick Resort from July 9th through the 12th. Both of French Lick’s Championship golf courses will be used for the event, with rounds one and three being played on the Ross course, and rounds two and four on the Dye course.
- The 112th Indiana Amateur will be hosted by Prairie View GC in Carmel. Prairie View has previously hosted the Indiana Open (2008), but this will be the first Indiana Amateur for the Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed course.
- The Indiana Women’s Golf Association State Amateur will be contested at Otter Creek GC in Columbus from July 18th through the 20th.
- The IGA is happy to announce the addition of another McDonalds Series event to the 2012 schedule. These Sunday afternoon events have been an extremely popular addition to the schedule and allow players to create their own groups and select their tee times. Players of all skill level are invited to play as the tournaments consist of both a gross and net division.
